Fundació Proajuda Global is a private non-profit foundation that was set up in June 2008 with the objective of helping the less favoured sectors of society (women in gender violence situations, disabled people, elderly people, etc.) and catering for the social deficiencies of any village or town.

We are a team, and you can be part of it. We need your helping hands to continue our work, to help all those in need.

A group of hands and hearts, together we will try hard to:

- Give refuge to that woman who is suffering or has suffered from gender violence. A home where she and her children will be able to spend the first months. We will heal superficial wounds and give the necessary psychological support in order to heal those wounds that are not so easily seen at first sight. We will provide vocational training through our training centres. We will be with them all the time until they regain their self-confidence and feel strong enough.

- Find a home for elderly people who are alone. We dislike the word loneliness, for them or for anybody. A home where they can be looked after, make friends and get the attention they need.

- Provide vocational training and a permanent job for physically and psychologically disabled people to show them they can get very far.

- Demonstrate that the so called “problem youngsters” according to the society need a helping hand. We will listen to them and find a solution to their problems.

When we shout, it is because we have a problem...

- Go from village to village listening to the people who are aware of the deficiencies of their village or town. We will open old people’s clubs in those places where elderly people have nowhere to meet, a kindergarten for those families with low incomes… Step by step, making our way through all villages and towns!.

One hand alone cannot get much done, all together we will go very far!.
